The cooperative victims of Rupandehi protested on Tuesday after Ravi Lamichhane, chairman of RSVP, former home minister and former managing director of Gorkha Media Network, was brought to Bhairahawa to investigate the crimes related to cooperative fraud and organized crime.

The victims protested near Buddh Chowk and Public Prosecutor's office in the headquarters of Bhairahawa. They demanded the return of the amount deposited in the cooperative.

In the name of the Supreme Cooperative Victims Group, the victims gathered at the entrance of the district court near Burmeli Toll in Bhairahawa and chanted slogans such as 'Give justice to the cooperative victims', 'Cooperatives cannot be cheated', and 'Fairly investigate cooperative frauds'. More than 50 victims participated in the demonstration. Vijay Nepal, Chairman of the Cooperative Oppressed Sangharsh Committee, said that the demonstration was held from the entrance of the District Court to the District Public Prosecutor's Office.
