With the onset of autumn, the activity of climbers in the Himalayan region starts to increase. Although there is talk of climbing mountains, those who climb mountains tend to disappear behind the scenes. Most of the time it is the guides who 'guide' the climbers in search of new routes.

Nepal's "Mountain Guides" are at the forefront of making mountain climbing easy while taking care of the climber's health. One of them is 45-year-old Pasang Kidar Sherpa of Gourishankar Rural Municipality-9 Beding.

After autumn, the rush to find new routes, build roads and climb new mountains begins. Pasang mountain climbers are also given climbing training along with teaching. Since the age of 16, he has been climbing mountains continuously.

Pasang has achieved a new success this year by successfully climbing the 6,125 meter high 'Beding Go' mountain which is considered very difficult. He made a new Alpine-style route to the mountain, which is prone to avalanches, and took the 53-year-old American mountaineer Danica Gilbert to the peak. Pasang and Danica took the risk and successfully climbed in 4 nights and 5 days from North-West Mohada of the 'Beding Go' mountain at 12:07 PM on October 28.

Mountain peaks looking for a new way 'The North-West Mohada of Beding Go is considered very difficult to climb,' said Pasang, 'but we managed to climb from that same Mohada, now a new route has been added for those who want to climb Beding Go.' He said that the Japanese team that went to climb Beding Go returned unsuccessfully. He said that the new glaciers of the Tibetan valley can be seen from the 'Beding Go' peak. "I don't know if there has been a study on those glaciers, but they are in the watershed area of Tamakoshi in Nepal," Pasang said. "Beding Go" has already been climbed from the southern part of the mountain. Pasang, who climbed Mount Everest at the age of 17, has reached its peak 7 times so far.

Similarly, Pasang, who has climbed Manaslu, Choyu, and Sisapang mountains in Tibet, became an international "mountain guide" after completing his studies in 2017. He said that he is more interested in finding new mountains and making routes for them than climbing mountains and setting records. "I have been working more on route construction including searching for new mountains and measuring the height by climbing them," he added. He said that last year, a blind American woman, Luyan Perk, successfully climbed the 5,650-meter Yalungi mountain in Rolwaling region.

'An American mountaineer friend said she wanted to climb the mountain even though she could not see,' Pasang said, 'Last year, she climbed Yalungi, and she was very happy to be able to climb the mountain for a blind person.' Climbed Yalungi Himal. "I was surprised that Afghan women wanted to climb the mountain," he said.

Mountain peaks looking for a new way Pasang makes a safe way to climb up to the newly discovered mountains for climbing. After the climbing is successful, they make a report and give it to the Ministry of Tourism, Nepal Mountaineering Association and other mountain-related organizations. In 2017, Daba Galgen Nimatenji and Pasang climbed the 6,357-meter Langdung Mountain in the world for the first time, along with Daba Yangju, the record climber who climbed all the mountains above 8,000 in the world, and the way was opened for others. He says that there are 74 international mountain guides in Nepal.

"In the past, we had to go to France and Switzerland to complete this course, but now we study in Nepal," Pasang says that he is the eighth batch of Nepalese to take this course. Currently, he is active in teaching mountaineers to climb mountains. For 26 days in the mountains of Rolwaling, they are trained to climb mountains by studying avalanches, paths, rocks, etc. And he said that there is a 14-day study on mountains in Kathmandu. He said that they are giving education and training like Rolwaling at Khangla Pass in Manang. After that, those who want to become a guide for 2 years will have to go to the mountains and climb them with their own resources, he said. Finally the exam is conducted after 2 years. He said that the official certificate of international mountain guide will be given only after passing the exam.

'Every year, 20 to 30 people enroll for this course,' he said, 'out of those who join the exam, barely 5/7 pass.' He said that 50 people have been given this course so far. Only those who complete the course are recognized as International Mountain Guides. After climbing from 'Beding Go' North-West Mohada, Pasang said that preparations have been made to make another road to Ramdang Himal in Rolwaling. This year, if possible, he is preparing to find a way to reach the base camp of the mountain. If not, he is planning to climb the mountain and measure the height by making a path in autumn next year.
