Sanjay Babu is a representative character among thousands of conflict victims. In the 2050s, due to the Maoist conflict, he was displaced from Madi in Sankhuwasabha and moved to Biratnagar. After teaching and writing in Biratnagar, Sanjay Babu, who flew to Japan for employment, returned after spending 7 years. Haven't gone since. Some of the income earned in 7 years has been invested in business. Teaches Japanese. Wife has an online business. Sometimes he helps by being a 'delivery boy'. 

On one day of the week, he is often found around the canal of the Sunsari-Morang irrigation project. With gloves on his hands and a mask on his face, he joins dozens of his colleagues in cleaning the canal. Year after year, the unconscious group including him has been aggressively cleaning the canal. Dozens of young people like him have joined the canal cleaning since March. It flows from Saptakoshi and reaches Biratnagar, Kanchanpani. However, youths believe that injustice is being done in the Sunsari-Morang irrigation project canal through which this water flows for a long time. "The injustice on the canal was very unbearable," said Sanjay Babu.

According to Ghimire, a large crowd of city dwellers gathered in the beginning of the campaign to stop dumping garbage in the canal, plant trees, and revive the canal. Sanjay Babu said, "The people of Biratnagar are able to wash their feet in the water that has flowed from Mount Everest. I wonder why the people of Biratnagar have not understood its importance." Another young man, Vikal Karki, said that he collects pocket money and buys waste baskets to manage waste. One of the vices of Biratnagar residents is that they mix their dirt in the house. He says that the dumping site of hospital waste is a canal. The youth removed up to three truckloads of garbage from the canal every day. Many syringes were found in front of Nobel Hospital. Medical wastes were seen in all the canals. "From the syringes of the hospital, garbage was found in the canal, which directly affects human health," Vikal told, "Who will take charge of it?" There is a common demand of the youth that the canal should not be made a dumping site and injustice should not be done.
