The 'Lariats and Leaders International 4th Summit for Children, Development and Peace', which was scheduled to be held on February 28 and 29, organized by the Lumbini government, has been postponed.

When the program was postponed at the last minute, the arrival of international dignitaries who were supposed to participate in the conference was also stopped. After changing the political course in the central government, it was decided whether the government of Lumbini would remain or not. Chief Minister Choudhary said, "Due to the political changes, no one was in the mood to hold the conference, so we decided to postpone it." . More than 300 experts including representatives of some countries that have established diplomatic relations with Nepal, global policy makers and young leaders were also expected to participate. The decision to do this program should have been made in advance or should have been done anyway after being asked to do the work. Acharya mentioned that with the change of government in Nepal, international relations will also be affected by announcing the program, distributing invitations internationally and postponing it at the last moment. "Initially, this program had to be moved after a day when the date itself coincided with another topic. It was seen that the new power equation will change the Chief Minister. "It seems that the international program has fallen under the influence of political instability," he said.

Foreign affairs expert and ex-ambassador Dinesh Bhattarai also believes it is wrong to postpone international programs when internal political events are on the rise. Such an incident does not send a good message internationally. The state government was going to organize a conference to develop a solid commitment, to brand Lumbini internationally. According to the decision of the provincial government on October 18 and the federal government on November 2, the conference was scheduled to be held. In addition to including the program in the policy and program, resources were allocated in the budget passed by the provincial parliament.

In the budget of the current financial year of the state, 65 million rupees were allocated for the program. According to the organisers, the Nobel Peace Prize laureates Timorese President Joze Mamos Horta (1996), Jody Williams (1997), 2011 joint winner Lemah Gbowi and Tawakkol Karman were confirmed to participate. The 2015 Nobel Peace Prize winners, Abdessatar Wayne Moussa and Vided Busamaoui, among the founders of Tunisia's National Dialogue Quartet, along with Nobel Laureate in Medicine Richard Roberts (1993), Nobel Laureate in Chemistry Ari Warsnall (2013) will also come to Lumbini.  At the

The various sessions and speakers to be held in the two-day program were also decided.
