The candidates of the National Independent Party (NISP) have won in all three constituencies of Dang. Coincidentally, the winners of all three constituencies have become MPs for the first time. They have broken the trend of becoming MPs by defeating their rivals who have become MPs many times before.

Pathak, elected from Dang-1, is a veteran academic from Deukhuri region, another valley in Dang. Pathak, who has been involved in teaching for four decades, has been elected MP by defeating Congress Joint General Secretary Yogendra Chaudhary, former Urban Development Minister Metmani Chaudhary, former Chief Minister of Lumbini Province Kul Prasad KC and former MP of Lumbini Province Rewatiraman Sharma Ghimire.
Pathak won by getting 27,322 more votes than his main competitor. Pathak got 42,602 votes while his main competitor, Congress Joint General Secretary Yogendra Chaudhary, got 15,280 votes.
Similarly, UML's Rewatiraman Sharma Ghimire got 6,825 votes and Nepali Communist Party's Metmani Chaudhary got 4,965 votes. Similarly, former Lumbini Province Chief Minister Kul Prasad KC, who filed as an independent candidate, got 1,384 votes.
Acharya has made his parliamentary journey for the first time from Dang-2, defeating UML General Secretary Shankar Pokhrel by a margin of 28,272 votes. He got 43,559 votes while his main competitor Pokhrel got 15,287 votes.
Congress's Kiran Kishore Ghimire got 11,558 votes and Nepali Communist Party's Nirmal Acharya got 7,083 votes. Acharya, who studied engineering and management, has made his way to parliament through a political journey with the responsibility of media management.
Subedi, elected from Dang-3, has won by defeating powerful leaders. He has defeated former Irrigation Minister Deepak Giri, former Finance Minister of Lumbini Province Dhan Bahadur Maski, and former Mayor of Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan City Ghanshyam Pandey, who are in the election fray for the sixth time.
His main competitor was Deepak Giri of the Nepali Congress, who defeated him in 2079 BS. Giri was defeated in the same constituency in 2051 BS, 2064 BS, and 2074 BS. Giri became the Irrigation Minister after being elected in 2070 BS. Now, Subedi has defeated Giri, taking revenge for 2079 BS.
He has won by a margin of 27,795 votes over his main competitor Giri. Subedi has secured 44,248 votes while Giri has secured 16,453 votes.
Similarly, UML candidate Pandey received 12,195 votes and Nepali Communist Party (NCP) candidate Maski received 9,328 votes. Maski resigned from the Lumbini Provincial Assembly and became the candidate.
This result shows that the people are trying to make a new face the leader. The elected candidates have also said that there is a strong desire for change among the people and addressing it is a big challenge. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Joint General Secretary Acharya, elected from Dang-2, said, "The people have trusted us a little more. They have trusted us a lot. There is a strong desire for change. Addressing that is our main responsibility and challenge."
