The Shram Sanskriti Party has come first in the proportional representation in Khotang in the election for members of the House of Representatives. According to the vote count held on Monday, the party came first in the proportional representation by getting 18,137 votes. UML came second with 11,385 votes. Nepali Congress came third with 10,705 votes. The National Swatantra Party came third with 8,879 votes, while the Nepali Communist Party came fifth with 7,274 votes, said Rabin Magar, head of the District Election Office, Khotang. Aren Rai of the Shram Sanskriti Party won by getting 16,612 votes. UML's Dev Bikram Rai got 12,714 votes, Nepali Congress' Birkaji Rai got 11,957 votes, and Hari Roka of the Nepal Communist Party got 9,443 votes and Rudra Giri of the National Independent Party got 5,704 votes. In Khotang, 15 candidates, including 2 independents, participated in the election.
