Navraj Pant is the creator of this popular song. Pant of Amlachaur Bardanda, located in Baglung Municipality-12, is currently in Baltimore, Maryland State, USA. He reached there in the course of his studies and still has the fun moments of preparing this song. 

This song was prepared a year and a half ago. However, there was no chance to be recorded. He was asked by singer and composer Ashish Aviral to provide the song in four days. There was not enough time to write songs. While reading Amar Neupane's novel 'Seto Dharti' for the third time, this song struck him.

'I was sitting by parking the car, I was thinking about what song to write, what kind of song to make,' he narrated the composition of the song, 'It was a story of a white earth star character crossing Madi river with a bag. I keep that in mind.'' It is mentioned in 'Seto Dharti' that Madi left because the star character was married in Lamjung. 

One day, Navraj saw someone using the word 'Raiya' on Facebook. "Then the line 'Raiya Chandi, ma ta baglunge maiya maadi' came to mind," he says, "later the song was created in a comedy way." He sent Ashish Aviral to read the words and prepare the music accordingly.

'I came to Nepal two months ago, I couldn't give time to record the song due to busyness,' he says, 'Meanwhile, the song will fit after the story is told by the 'Poorna Bahadur' film unit, they recorded the song on the condition that they did not change the words.' The break song has reached 13.6 million views less than a month after it was uploaded on YouTube. He did not think when he wrote the song that it would be such a hit. He already planned what kind of song and how to write it. "After that, it took three hours to finalize the song," he says People who know each other send messages on Facebook to congratulate them. "I didn't think it would make a crore in a month, I only thought it would reach 50/60 lakh views," he says, "I really liked Thego, I was sure that the song would be good after Ashish dai narrated its music." 

'Raiya Chandi' is not Navraj's first song. Earlier his composition 'Salko Paatko Tapri Hooni' became a super hit. The song is one of the most viewed on YouTube in the history of folk songs. This song, which was uploaded on YouTube on October 1, 2075, has been viewed 98 million times. Once upon a time, this song used to be heard at weddings, fasts, fairs and festivals. 

'Musician Basant Thapa was in the UK for a musical program, I was in the US, during the conversation it was said that I had to write a new song,' he says before writing the song. And in the room, I began to mix things up.' 

But, initially this song was born differently. "When I wrote the song, I used to say 'Sal ko paat ko tapari kuna, Hey maya no sallaiko, how much is your love, how much is your love, don't fall in love with me'," he says. 'Barai', which became a typical word spoken in the village,' has the voice of Kulendra Vishwakarma and Vishnu Majhi.

"I thought that the audience would like a different flavor, I didn't think it would be such a hit, the song became a super-duper hit," he says happily. . The song was supposed to reach the million club on YouTube, but the song has reached more than 90 million.' 

Most of the folk songs recorded in the words of Navraj are popular with the audience. His composition 'Dandai Phurke Sallo' was never played on radio and television. The voice in the song belongs to Kulendra and Vishnu. At the Mela Mahotsav, singer Kulendra could not get up on the stage, and this song was heard from the audience. 

There is another song prepared in his own words, 'Mayaluko sahar ma mero village ghar cha'. It also got a lot of buzz. The song, composed by Basant Thapa and sung by Ganesh Paudel and Purnakala BC, has been watched by more than 45 lakhs on YouTube alone. Navraj has created more than 60 songs including 'Panpate Thuli', 'Manjari'. "Dandai Phurke Sallo" is the song that first introduced me to the folk music scene, he says, "Raiya Chandi" introduced me to the film. Navraj flew to America in November 2014 for

studies. The youngest of three brothers and one sister, he joined the music industry with the company of his friends. No one else in the family is in this area except him. "After coming to Kathmandu, the association of leading artists gave me the inspiration to enter this field," he says, "Now how can I be separated from music!"

He also has an interesting story of entering the musical field. "When I was studying at Saraswati Campus, Basant Thapa Dai was also studying there, I got to know him then, later I got the opportunity to learn a lot after meeting lyricist Pralhad Subedi and singer Kulendra Vishwakarma," he recalls, "I used to listen to the program 'Madhuvan' conducted by Navraj Lamsal on Radio Nepal a lot. . He loved the songs of folk singer Bhagwan Bhandari. I used to care about the words of the songs he sang.' 

One day in the company of friends, he sang a couplet at a wedding. However, the friends said, "You don't have a voice, you can't sing and eat." He began to dive into songwriting without saying, 'Now start writing songs, if you try, what's not going to happen?' "While crossing the Damauli Bridge from Kathmandu to Baglung, the song 'Dandai Phurke Sallo' came to mind," he remembers the moment when he wrote the first song, "Since then I have been active in the field of song writing." 

Since his childhood, Navraj was very fond of folk songs. He used to listen and watch the double song playing on radio/TV attentively. "My father used to tell me that I had sung a song in a program where BP Koirala was a guest, I was shocked," he says, "Later I was able to enter this field myself." Studied at BBS Saraswati Campus Kathmandu. He did his MBS from Tribhuvan University in 2067. After studying and working, he also completed his MPA. After that, he went to Baglung and started teaching 'Plus Two'.
