67.48 percent votes have fallen in Tilagufa-4 Ranchuli here. Chief Electoral Officer Anandraj Pant said that 411 votes were cast in Tilagufa-4 with a total of 609 voters.

 

According to him, more women than men participated in the election. 217 women and 194 men have voted in the ward election. Nemkipa's candidate Khadkraj Shahi said that male voters are out of the district for various professions and jobs. According to him, 200 voters of Ranchuli village were not at home, although the votes were low, but 100 percent of those who were at home voted. 119 people are outside the district.

Two years ago, the by-election was held here after the then ward president Par Bahadur Shahi of Tilagufa-4 Ranchuli disappeared in a landslide. Naishova, the wife of Shahi, who disappeared in the election, has become a candidate from the Maoist Center. Here she is the only female candidate. 

The candidates of Congress, UML, Maoist Center, Nemkipa, RPRPA and Rashtriya Swatantra Party are in the electoral competition in this by-election.

Counting of votes from 6 pm

Chief Election Officer Pant informed that all the preparations for the counting of votes have been completed at the ward office of Tilagufa-4 and the counting of votes will start from 6 pm. According to him, since the distance from the polling place to the counting place is only 15 minutes, the counting of votes will start from 6 o'clock.

For the security and monitoring of the polling place, security officers including Prazia Narayan Prasad Bhattarai, District Police Chief Tek Bahadur Rawat, Armed Police DSP Dipendra Bahadur Bista are in Ranchuli .
