30-year-old Dhruv Baral and 26-year-old Suyinka Neupane (Baral) of Raskot Municipality-8 have been nominated in the seventh level of the Karnali Public Service in their home district. They were in a relationship since their college days and got married on 20 Baisakh 2080 with the consent of their families.

Both of their fathers are teachers and mothers are homemakers. Due to the fact that their father is a teacher, although they suffer less economic hardship than other local youths, they have seen/suffered Karnali's social ills, corruption, gender and caste discrimination and inequality.

Just like the common youth lost their hope that something can be done within the country, they were also fascinated by foreign countries at one time. The success of public service took a new turn in the life of the Baral couple, who got married with plans to go abroad after completing higher education. After the success of public service, they canceled their plans to go abroad. Now we have given up the dream of going abroad. Both of us have reached the goal of remaining in the government service,'' said Dhruva, who was recommended in the home district after passing the civil service on October 14, 'now both of them aim to reach the top positions of the federal government.'' told that it is happening.

The Baral couple filled the public service form two years ago. He also thought of going abroad after the process was postponed due to the case. But last May, the court decided about the commission's examination. After succeeding in the examination conducted last August, Dhruv appeared as the head of the agriculture branch of Khadachakra municipality in Kalikot headquarters and Suyinka as the head of the agriculture branch of his hometown Raskot. The Baral couple is preparing to undergo in-service training after entering the service.

Locals are also happy after the young officer of Pedelekh became the head of the agriculture branch in the municipality, which has good prospects for grain, vegetables and fruits compared to other local levels. The municipality hopes to introduce new technology in agriculture and implement programs that will benefit ordinary farmers, said Parwanand Pandey, the leader of Khadachakra-3. "Due to the lack of irrigation facilities, good seeding and equipment, we have not been able to produce even for food," he said They are known as farmers. He also taught JTA to his son and engaged him in agricultural work.

Dhruv, a post-graduate in agriculture, said that he would try to make agriculture a self-respecting profession. He said that in Khadachakra Municipality, there is a good possibility of raising mangoes in summer, fruits from bananas to cold-growing apples, walnuts, all kinds of vegetables, potatoes, cauliflower, cabbage, cabbage, corn, rice, wheat, millet, beans, buffaloes, sheep, goats and chickens in animal husbandry. Said to emphasize skills and technology.

Dhruva, who started his primary education from Pingaladevi Basic School in Phukot, where his father Ganesh Prasad Baral was a teacher, said that he changed 5 schools when he reached class 10. My school life was a whirlwind. I went to 5 schools from village to Surkhet, Kathmandu and then to Kalikot to pass M.A.,' he said, 'This made it easier for me to live in a different place and make new friends.' And completed his post graduation from Rampur in Chitwan. The eldest of five children, Dhruva's father was a teacher but used to farm in the village. That is why he taught his son about agriculture. He has an apple farm in Sipti Vishali Lake in Raskot, while he has paddy and vegetable farming land in Phukot. Ganesh Prasad said that he made his son to study agriculture because he thought that even if he did not get a job after studying agriculture, it would be easy for him to do farming. Dhruv said that he passed all the exams with excellent marks because his interests matched his father's choice.

Suyinka of Khalla Village-5 of Tilagufa Municipality-5 in Kalikot (Zubitha Gavis-3 of Savik) grew up, grew up and studied in Surkhet. While father Indra Prasad Neupane stayed in Calikot for his job, mother Ratna lived in Surkhet. As my father lives in Kalikot, he used to come to the village from time to time. After passing her B.Sc., she taught for 28 months at Mahadev Mavi, located in Tilagufa-3, from 075. His father worked as a teacher in the village for 34 years. For the last 15 years, he worked as a resource person of the district education office to monitor the schools of the district, develop the capacity of teachers and increase the educational quality of classrooms and make educational plans. After retiring from education, he is currently living in Surkhet.

Suyinka studied at Adarsh Mavi in Surkhet through English medium and passed her SLC in first class from Bulbule Bheri Academy and did her ISC from Kathmandu. She graduated in Agriculture and Forestry from NPI under Purvanchal University. Despite spending his energetic years in the teaching profession, Indra Prasad is not satisfied with the educational quality of Karnali. "Educational institutions are just places to get jobs," he says. Indraprasad argues that in Karnali, where there is low investment for quality education, backward awareness, and political interference, only if young people are involved in agricultural crops and production, Karnali can become self-sufficient. That is why he taught agriculture to his daughter even though he was from the education sector.

Suyinka, who passed SSLI in first class from Surkhet in 069 and passed ISC from Milestone International College, Kathmandu, completed her B.Sc. from Nepal Polytechnic Institute under Purvanchal University, Bharatpur 5 years ago. Suyinka was preparing to go abroad together after her husband completed his master's degree. That's when he told Karnali

She was nominated in the fifth level for agriculture in the province and was recommended to Chingad Rural Municipality of Surkhet. After passing public service at the technical deputy subba level and getting a job in his own district, his desire to go abroad decreased. She also allowed her husband to stay in the country and do something instead of going abroad. Where is it easy abroad? "Seeing opportunities in Nepal for those who studied agriculture, my fascination with foreign countries was broken," said Suyinka, "and I finally convinced my husband to stay here and start preparing for public service."

Suyinka felt that society's view of women employees was biased while serving as the head of the agriculture branch in Chingad Rural Municipality of Surkhet. At that time, she had a bitter experience of not having a proper working environment and encouragement for women who had entered the government service. "There is a tendency to discriminate against women," she told about her experience of working as the head of the agriculture branch for two years, "People's representatives and employees were also uncooperative. After realizing gender discrimination, we called my husband there and planned to study together with the goal of becoming an officer.'

She told that even though she was pressured by the municipality chairman and lower level employees to do things against the rules, she said that she could not go beyond the law, rules and procedures, and even tried to remove her from the branch head by making many conspiracies. Female employees do not know anything. I saw a poor mentality that you have to accept whatever is said,'' she said. "While living in the Dera, we prepared for public service by sharing the work of cooking, washing clothes and cleaning the rent," she said.

Dhruv is more diligent while Suyinka has the ability to remember what she reads quickly. They used to study and discuss together sitting in Chingad. Dhruv used to tell Suyinka after returning from the office about the inquiries and studies he had done in the afternoon. They understand that sharing what one has read with the other makes it easier to understand in less time and it makes it easier for both of them to achieve success. "When we discuss and study together, the understanding of the subject becomes more clear," Suyinka said. When we discuss each other's strengths and weaknesses, understanding will be clear. The discussion will be very fruitful to understand the reading and be clear on the subject, he said. The Baral couple says that along with hard work, the support of their family and friends is important for their success.
