After starting to understand the behavior, Rai felt the desire of Fidim-2, "A little land and a small house in a high and lonely place." I can enjoy making that place my own world away from the crowd, noise and pollution of the city market.'
In the year 2078, after completing her graduation from Panchthar Multiple Campus, her husband and parents suggested her to go to Kathmandu to pursue her master's degree. She settled in Kirtipur and was admitted to Tribhuvan University. She also took classes for three months. But she says that staying for a long time in Kathmandu's congestion and pollution is more difficult than climbing Mount Everest.
``It was fun to meet friends in college,'' she remembered those days, ``After leaving, it was always hard to come back to the room. Crowds and commotion on the way out. That's why I returned home after four months.
After returning from Kathmandu, I thought that I should do something while reading. After consulting her husband and mother-in-law's parents in Korea, she bought a plot of land in Batase, Fidim Municipality-2. She thought of running a homestay on that land, but in a slightly different style. How to make a
house? What materials to use and how to differentiate the business? I began to consult with my husband. He proposed to make a building using rods, cement and glass. But I didn't agree,' she said, 'I told them to use Raithane materials to build an original house that reflects the times of our forefathers.' "After insisting that he would enjoy eating the same way, his husband agreed and then the original and artistic style house was ready," said 24-year-old Trishna.
Trishna's own designed 'Pahuna Ghar' is very attractive. A mud hut, a thatched roof, a bardli carved out of wood, lanterns placed side by side, black corn cobs hanging from the bardli, neatly arranged bedrooms, a museum on the wall of the courtyard. Traditional materials based on the Kirat civilization including Doko, Dalo, Namlo, Thunse, Furlong, Chindo and Chuntho housed in the museum and a bird's nest in the foreground. She has named this artistic structure guest house. Nowadays, Trishna is busy welcoming domestic and foreign tourists who come to this house.
She is a calm and dignified person who offers free red tea made from handmade leaves to anyone who comes to her guest house. She serves dhindo, sisnu, millet and phapar roti, millet pudding for breakfast. For those who prefer Raithane vegetables according to the season, millet tongba and sukuti, local chicken meat, three-leaf liquor made from millet, alcha and khurpani wine etc. are the specialties of Trishna's guest house. For those who want a
, Kirat Rai has also given the facility to take photos in the cultural dress of the caste. A guest house that looks beautiful and attractive upon arrival is as intimate as the outer covering and the inner harmony. This place is also a must to see Ramita. 11 km down near Phidim Bazar, Ramite View Tower, a little higher Sarpedanda and Labrekuti and places like Taplejung and Tehrathum are easily visible.
That's why Trishna's guest house is often crowded with domestic and foreign tourists these days. Every day 15/20 people are enough to capture photos and videos with the environment seen in the background in the scorching heat of Fidim Bazaar. In the evening, the number of people staying here is equally dense, relishing the dishes of Raithane Bali. In his guest house, domestic as well as foreign tourists from the districts of Panchthar, Taplejung, Tehrathum, Dhankuta, Jhapa, Morang, Sunsarika etc. are seen in abundance.
is the Batase Danda homestay area of Panchthar. Lalikhark Batase community homestay was registered and operating here since 2077. The land purchased by Trishna is in Batase Homestay area. "Everyone who comes here returns satisfied," she says, "I am happy about that." Trishna Panchthar is also a Master's student in the Faculty of Education at the versatile campus. Trishna's husband Mohan Magar lives in Korea. The mother is a teacher at a child development center. The mother thinks that her daughter, who is so educated, would have got a job instead of doing business. Even after studying till graduation, run a guest house? He suggests that I should get a job," says Trishna, "I started a business to do something in my hometown rather than a job. If you want to do it, there are many possibilities in the village. Honesty and perseverance are definitely needed.'
