Fidim bowed with Naveen

The weather in Panchthar was foggy since Friday morning. It was relatively cold. In the evening, pop singer Naveen K Bhattarai along with his band 'Atrupta' appeared at the playground of Phidim Mavi in the headquarters of Phidim.

Even before the start of the program from 5 pm, the ground was filled with spectators from villages. More than half of the audience was young.  The

lasted for about three hours with the performance of local artists and musicians. After loud demands from the audience with frequent hooting, singer Naveen took the stage singing 'Saanjh Pakh Ekantma...' at 9:30 pm. Then the atmosphere suddenly heated up. After that, he continued to sing 'Hau Lakhni ki Dkan...', 'The night has passed...', 'I want only one...', 'I remember...', 'Sayuun Las Teker...', 'Dobatoma... ' sang.

As he sings, the audience dances and sings along with him. The audience was in the 'mood' of dancing even when he hit the beat of his performance from the song 'Timile teke koke...'. Some were taking off their jackets and some were riding on their friends' shoulders and swaying to Naveen's performance.

Naveen and his band have descended on Panchthar headquarters Fidim for the first time for a musical performance. That's why his fans came to see the concert excitedly. About 10,000 listeners and spectators from Taplejung, Tehrathum and Ilam attended the concert, according to the organizer Postal Line Youth Club.

'The concert was twice as fun as I thought it would be, I was drenched in sweat while dancing,' said Suman Limbu, who arrived in Phidim after riding a motorcycle for three hours from Phalelung. Singer Naveen, who came to Panchthar for the first time for a performance, also seemed more excited by the large presence of the local audience. "The presence of the supporters added more energy when Panchthar came for the first time," he said.

Postal Line Youth Club of Fidim has organized this event to support the treatment of kidney patients, to change the habits of the youth who are addicted to drugs and to promote musical tourism.
