Singer Ramakrishna Dhakal, who is in Australia for a musical tour, sang his new and old songs at the Indreni Function Center in Ragdale, Sydney on Saturday evening. Singer Dhakal, who took to the stage singing the song 'Bihan Uthne Bhittikai', then continuously presented 'hit numbers' including 'Banchunjellilai', 'Orali Lagai', 'Najik Aanuma', 'Charilee Ta Shakhter'.
In collaboration with a local band, Dhakal, who also sang the songs of Swarasmarat Narayan Gopal, sang his own 'Ae Maya Jadau' at the end of the musical performance, and the audience danced along. Singer Dhakal, who is coming to Australia for the fourth time on a music tour, first visited in 2009.
"I have always been getting love from Nepalis in Australia, I am more excited to start the Australia tour this time from Sydney," Dhakal said. Dhakal sang for three hours in the program organized by Palpa Services. He said that since Dasain will be celebrated in Australia this time, there will be musical performances in different cities.
