Om Vikram, who introduced pop culture in Nepal, has been active in this field for twenty five decades. Appreciating Bishta's long-term contribution, he was awarded the Long Sadhana Samman (Lifetime Achievement) at the 'Radio Kantipur National Music Awards 2080' held in Kathmandu last week.

Lochan believes that Nepali pop music can be given a new form with increasing technology. Nepali pop music can be brought to the world through music based on knowledge and creativity.
