The government has said that in the budget for the upcoming fiscal year, it will increase Dalit-focused investment in an integrated manner to preserve the traditional skills of the Dalit community and upgrade their income generation.
This was stated by Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle while unveiling the budget for the fiscal year 2083/084 in Parliament on Friday.
He said that a budget of 3 billion has been allocated for nutritional support for Dalit children under the age of five across the country.
