On Saturday, 21,500 people visited the fourth day of the 'Naima Mobility Expo-2025', which started on July 21. The organizer Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (NAIMA) has informed that this presence of visitors on one day is very high.

Due to the increasing crowd on the day, the exhibition time has been extended by one day according to the demand of visitors and various vehicle companies participating in the expo. The exhibition was scheduled for Sunday only. But Shirish Murarka, coordinator of the organizing committee, said that it was decided to extend the time till Monday as the attendance of visitors was better than expected.

'Everyone said that the expo was very good, one day should be added,' he said, 'The time has been added according to the demand of visitors and exhibitors.' Gaurav Sarada, a member of the expo committee, said that since Saturday was a public holiday, the attendance of visitors was good. 

As the participation on the first day was encouraging, the organizers have arranged for the expo to remain open till 8 pm. Organizers say that even after the office is closed, the time has been extended by targeting customers who come to the expo. According to which, from Thursday, Naima has maintained the time period of the expo from 11 am to 8 pm. 

"The expo is going very well so far, we are getting a good response," Sarada said. He said that the two and four wheeler vehicles kept at the expo are being booked in full swing. There is a competition between the companies to give discounts at the expo held in the run-up to the festival. Companies have stated that the discount offer announced at the Expo will run throughout the festive period.

Jay Golchha, director of Lipmotor's official dealer, Sangrila Mortas, said that the response has been better than expected and vehicle bookings are also going well. "Customers look for high-variant vehicles with good ground clearance and range," he said, "It's been 10 months since Lipmotor brand entered Nepal. During this period, we have sold more than 260 units of C10 and T03 models.

Lipmotor's C10 model is priced at 72 lakh rupees, but it has been kept at 65 lakh rupees for the duration of the expo. Lipmotor's T03 model is priced at Rs 27 lakh 99 thousand and B10 model is priced at Rs 49 lakh 99 thousand.

Manoj Thapa Magar, the sales incharge of Eco Infinity, the official seller of the electric scooter 'New', said that more than 70 units have been booked at the Naima Expo by noon on Saturday. "We took 20 bookings on Saturday too," he said, "bookings are increasing, old brands in electric vehicles and after-sales service are also good." Customers are also attracted by that. He said that the RQI model electric bike was launched at the expo. He said that the price of the electric bike designed in sporty looks will be Rs. 10 lakhs. "It is designed in sporty looks, the bike has a 7.5 KW battery," he said, "it runs at a speed of 120 km." 

FQI 300 model electric scooter has also been launched at the expo. Thapa Magar said that the price of the said scooter is 3 lakh 85 thousand rupees. "The battery in the scooter is portable, it can be charged by removing the battery, it can also be charged by keeping it in the scooter," he said. He said that the electric scooter of the Chinese brand "New" has been in Nepal for 9 years.

Pioneer Moto Corp, the official distributor of Zikar brand, has also introduced a special discount scheme at the Naima Expo. With a special offer for customers, Zikar X will be available for Rs 84 lakh 99 thousand at Rs 69 lakh 99 thousand, the company said. The company said that customers who book the Zikar X at the Expo will also get a warranty of 8 years or 160,000 km. According to the company, 10 Zikar X bookings have been done till Saturday. Santoshi Nepal, senior marketing manager of Mahindra's official dealer, Agni Incorporated, also told that the booking of the

vehicle was better than expected. "The number of vehicle bookings has reached the 'third digit', customers are increasing," she said. He claims that he likes Mahindra cars because of the technology, features, range, ground clearance etc. "It has been crowded since the first day. When we arrived on the second day of the expo, we even had to sit inside the car and wait to see it," she said.
