This time Finance Minister Pun is saying that he will give innovation in the budget. Finance Minister Pun has used the briefcase of the budget speech differently than before to symbolically show the change.
Earlier, finance ministers used to carry budget speeches in leather bags. This time Finance Minister Pun used cloth bags to encourage domestic production, according to his secretariat. According to the finance minister's secretariat, the cloth bags were bought from Thamel, a tourist spot in Kathmandu, on Tuesday morning.
