Every place has its own art, culture and specialty. Also, Gandaki is a mine of folk music. Many popular songs are sung here from Salaijo, Kauda, Roila, Khayali. Yanimaya, a vertical vaka, is also sung in this region.

On the whole, songs that carry their culture, originality and are loved by every region are sung in Gandaki province. The artist has also presented his original art and culture through songs.  From

artists to song-singing, Gandaki is ahead in folk poetry. Everyone likes us. This is our desire - that everyone can hum our songs.

How many Ratayuli songs have been sung now? The same song has also been sung in duplicate. Different bhakas are sung in different districts of Gandaki. Thado Vaka is sung in Lamjung, Yanimaya in Baglung, Kauda in Tanahun, Royla in Syangja, Khayali, Thado Vaka, Salijo in Kaski.

These songs are songs that identify different communities. The community that has sung the song, will dress up in their community's costumes and dance. The audience can easily know about the dress of which community.

These are the words that carry originality in folk repetition. The tune of Panchaibaja song is mostly played in Baglung. The tune of the panchaibaza played in Baglung and Syangja is different. At first, it was sung twice in the Rodi of the village. Rodi used to be a place of suffering.

Those who were tired after being busy in the fair all day would gather in the evening and sing a couplets containing stories and sorrows. But times are changing. Along with this, many things need to change. At that time, the song sung in the village has become professional.

Earlier, when Rodi was sitting in the village house, the songs sung, the style of singing and the feelings carried by those words were deep. Because there was no professionalism attached to it. Only there, originality and culture would be connected. Nowadays, the sentiments and words of the song sung towards Rodighar, Dohri Sanjha are not so simple, it is becoming purely commercial. It gave the impression that children used to sit and sing like this in the early days. But it doesn't feel like a song sung by a villager.

I was young. Others used to tell us that we used to sing such and such songs in Rodi. The meaning of those words was deep. Sounds simple, but the words carried a deep meaning. It was not necessary to sing for money. We didn't even want to take out the cassette. There was a sense of self-satisfaction in telling the crowd through songs. We would like to preserve our talent, culture, culture and originality.

Nowadays, there are few artists who can sing by picking the words like that. Folk music should be avoided. Currently, there is no body that understands and researches that folk music should be preserved. I am now the Senior Vice President of the National Folk and Dual Song Academy of Nepal. Yet we must be disciplined. Must be decent. Folk songs should carry emotion. We have been making people aware that songs and music should convey a positive message. However, the National Folk and Dual Song Foundation does not have the responsibility and authority to do this.  Although we do not have the right to

, we have not stopped asking questions. Folk music should be protected from the government level. What are the characteristics of folk music? In which province, what songs are sung? There is no body that cares how we protect it. Government agencies are not interested. As a result, there is a risk of distortion, inconsistency, and increase in this area. Those who enter the singing field must be self-disciplined.

If you listen to the song I sang tomorrow when your children grow up, what kind of song did my parents sing? There is no complacency in saying that you have become a singer by singing such a song. Even if you think of tomorrow, you have to think now while singing. Now singing is also a means of recognition in old age. Therefore, good thinking, thought and effort should be done while writing and singing songs. Sing a good song now, tomorrow the chest of children and grandchildren will swell with pride so that my parents-grandparents should have singers who sing such good songs.

The basis of all music is folk repetition. Whether it is simple music or hymns, this is the basis of everything. Folk songs never die. From the beginning, there are more people who love folk music. The Nepali song sounds like a folk song. There is a future for those who work hard and sing well. If we forget our originality and try to become more modern, folk music can be lost. The artist should be aware of this. The song should be music that the audience can understand.

Singer-singer should acquire knowledge about folk music. Research should be done. When going to the village, what kind of songs did old people sing with their grandmothers? It is also necessary to inquire about the current songs. We should be able to teach the younger generation about folk music. Attention should also be paid to the study of folk music.
