After spending a year in Qatar for employment, Karki used to travel from village to village as a transport entrepreneur. Karki, who is also a land trader, started a campaign to learn from the defeat of 2074 BS and create entrepreneurs and employment for his brothers who have gone abroad. 38-year-old Karki is single.
Karki's aim is to work by prioritizing education, health, and employment. Karki says that work will begin on how to bring back those who have gone abroad. Karki's closest competitor, UML candidate Pradeep Katuwal, has wished him victory and suggested that he work according to the needs of the people.
