A street food festival has started in Charikot from Sunday to promote Raithane food. In the festival, which has the slogan 'Eat on the road, enjoy on the road', there are stalls of Raithane dishes and other dishes.

Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Badri Prasad Pandey inaugurated the festival by tasting Raithane Khan. The festival organized jointly by Chamber of Commerce Dolakha and Dolakha District Hotel and Tourism Association will last for three days. Tableaus of different castes were displayed at the

festival on Sunday. Rudrajang Budhathoki, president of the Chamber of Commerce, said that the street food festival was organized targeting domestic tourists who came to Raithane to introduce food and celebrate the New Year.
