48.28 percent votes were cast in the by-election held on Sunday for the vacant post of vice-president of Gaurishankar Village. 7 thousand 589 people participated in the election.

According to the office of the Chief Election Officer, there was peaceful voting in 12 polling stations of Gaurishankar, which has 9 wards. The office has also informed that the collection of ballot boxes of the municipality, which is very remote, will be done overnight. 

Similarly, Chief District Officer Shivram Gelal said that ballot boxes will be brought by helicopter from the Beding polling station of Ward No. 9 on Monday morning. After the collection of ballot boxes, the counting of votes will be done from noon on Monday. A total of 15 thousand 7  There are 180 voters.
