Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores have been brought to New York by the US military.
They were taken by helicopter from Stewart Air National Guard Base in New York State to the DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) office in Manhattan. Both have since been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
