Extreme Energy Drinks is the broadcasting title sponsor of the live broadcast of the World Cup. A sponsorship agreement has been signed between the two parties on Wednesday. Sagar KC, Business Head of Kantipur Max, and Pawan Kumar Shrestha, Sales Head of Extreme Energy Drinks, signed the agreement.
CEO Swar said that Kantipur Max is developing it as a sports channel and it is a matter of pride to be able to broadcast live international matches played by Nepal. He expressed his gratitude to the ICC for trusting the Nepali channel for live broadcast.
Nepal Cricket Association Secretary Paras Khadka discussed the live broadcast of the Twenty20 World Cup that Nepal is playing on Nepali channels as an investment in the development of Nepali cricket. This is Nepal's third participation in the Twenty20 World Cup. This time, Nepal is in Group 'C' along with England, West Indies, Italy and Scotland. Nepal will play its first match against England on February 8 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
