Pokhara's batting against Janakpur

Pokhara Avengers have decided to bat first against Janakpur Bolts in the second match of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) cricket on Thursday. Pokhara captain Kushal Bhurtel won the toss and decided to bat first at the Tribhuvan University Cricket International Stadium, Kirtipur.

Janakpur has taken to the field wearing a pink jersey as a sign of 'honor to the mother'. Pokhara has taken to the field wearing a green jersey carrying the message of the environmental protection campaign that glaciers are important.

Pokhara has fielded Tritaraj Das in place of Abhishek Tiwari. Janakpur has changed 3 players. The team has fielded Shubh Kansakar in place of Aditya Mahata.

Janakpur has fielded former South African fast bowler Wayne Parnell and Pakistani all-rounder Maj Sadaqat for the first time. He came to Kathmandu straight after leading Pakistan 'A' to the Asia Cup Rising Stars title in Doha, Qatar.
