Biratnagar Kings have given a target of 118 runs to Kathmandu Gurkhaz in Nepal Premier League (NPL) cricket on Sunday. After Karan KC, the captain of Kathmandu Gurkhaz, won the toss at the University Cricket Ground, Kirtipur, Biratnagar was bowled out for 117 runs in 19.5 overs.

Jehrard Ersmus played an important role in stopping Biratnagar with a small score with excellent bowling . Namibia's captain off-spinner Erasmus took 3 wickets with 17 runs in 4 overs. He bowled Scott Edwards and took the wickets of Chris Soule and captain Sandeep Lamichhane in the same over.

Another spinner Dipesh Kandel took 2 wickets . Devrahate Dipesh spent only 16 runs in 4 overs. Shahav Alam, Dan Douthwaite and captain Karan Casey took 1 wicket each. Rajesh Pulami scored the highest 25 runs from Biratnagar. He played 21 balls and hit 1 four and a six.

Kathmandu will have to defeat Biratnagar by a big margin to reach the playoffs and Karnali Yaks will have to lose against Sudurpaschim Royals in Monday's match.
