Pokhara Avengers will bat first in Nepal Premier League (NPL) cricket. Kathmandu Gurkhaz captain Karan KC won the toss on Saturday and invited Pokhara for the batting first at the Trivi Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

Three players have been changed from the team that played the previous match in Pokhara. Tritraj Das, Kiran Thagunna, Zain Malik have been replaced by Akash Chand, Dilip Nath and Drew Gomil. An opening batsman who played first-class cricket from Mumbai, Indian player Gomil is the first player in the NPL.

Kathmandu Gurkhaz have replaced Sumit Maharjan with Raju Rizal and Dan Dawthwaite with Nathan Souter. Both Pokhara and Kathmandu are likely to reach the playoffs. With two games left to play, Pokhara and Kathmandu have 4-4 points.
