Karnali came into bat after captain Sompal Kami won the toss and scored 141 runs after losing 7 wickets at the Trivi Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.
Arjun Gharti and Sompal Kami added 43 runs in the last two overs and Karnali made a watchable score. Arjun, who hit Harsh Thackeray with 2 sixes and 2 fours in the 19th over, was run out for 33 runs in the last over. He played 22 balls. Sompal, who scored 21 runs in the last over, hit 3 fours and 1 six off 13 balls and was unbeaten on 19 runs.
