In Kathmandu Constituency No. 1, Ranju Darshana Neupane of the National Independent Party won by more than double the margin of votes over her nearest competitor. She won by securing 15,455 votes, while her nearest competitor Prabal Thapa of the Nepali Congress received 6,364 votes.

Rabindra Mishra of RPP has received 3,972 votes. There were 48,489 voters in the area. Of these, about 28,000 votes were cast. A candidate who gets 10 percent should have received 2,800 votes. The deposits of 26 other candidates, including the CPN-UML candidate, are to be forfeited. 

UML candidate Mohan Raj Regmi received 1,618 votes. It is expected that the deposits of him and all the candidates after him will be forfeited. It is expected that the deposits of Mohan Raj Regmi of Ujjaya Nepal Party, Samir Tamang Lama of Shram Sanskriti Party, and Menuka Bhandari of Nepali Communist Party will be forfeited. There is a legal provision that the deposit will be forfeited if 10 percent of the votes cast are not received.  

Arjun Bahadur Shahi, who participated in the election from Nepal Janasewa Party in Kathmandu-1, has received zero votes.  Ranju Darshana of the National Independent Party won by getting 15,455 votes, while Prabal Thapa of the Nepali Congress received 6,364 votes.  Rabindra Mishra of the RPP received 3,972 votes. 

The one who received the least votes is Arjun Bahadur Shahi, who received zero votes. Raju Bhujel, Shanti Shrestha, Sangeet Bamma received only one vote. Rajkumar Limbu, Kamal Subedi, Kiran Shah and  Ramesh Prasad Joshi received 2 votes.

According to Section 64 of the Election Guidelines for Members of the House of Representatives-2082, there is a provision that the deposit of a candidate who receives less than ten percent of the total number of votes cast in an election based on the first-past-the-post electoral system will be forfeited. A person who wants to become a member of the House of Representatives will have to deposit a deposit of Rs 10,000. 

In 2079, the deposits of 1/1 candidates of UML and Congress were forfeited across the country. Similarly, the bail of 2 candidates of the then CPN-Maoist Center was forfeited. This time, the bail of 82 candidates of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), who had made a lead in many seats, was forfeited.
