Voting has begun in the Himalayan district of Manang. Voters have not reached the polling stations in three of the five polling stations in the remote Narpabhumi rural municipality.

The District Security Committee has placed all 5 polling stations in Narpabhumi Rural Municipality on the highly sensitive list. 

Chief District Officer Nawaraj Paudyal informed that voters have not yet arrived in Nar villages 1 and 3 of Narpabhumi Rural Municipality and Phu village of ward number 4. There are a total of 488 voters in Narpabhumi Rural Municipality. There are 29 polling stations in Manang, including one temporary one.

Out of a total of 7,000 voters, 3,623 are women and 3,377 are men. There were 6,779 voters in the 2079 House of Representatives elections. This time, 221 voters have been added compared to the previous election.
