All the staff and security personnel deployed at the Bharatpur Secondary School polling station in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-10 are women. There are four polling stations there. Each station will have six staff and three volunteers.

Similarly, nine district police officers and 16 election police officers deployed for security are all women.

There are a total of 3,727 voters in the four polling stations of Bharatpur Secondary School. Sushila Wagle, polling officer of ‘K’ center, said that all women were deployed in Bharatpur Secondary School in the previous election of 2079 BS for members of the House of Representatives and members of the Provincial Assembly. The three polling officers deployed last time are also there this time.

‘We had successfully conducted voting in the previous election. This time too, we are women. We have prepared the polling stations together. The voting will be conducted well,’ Wagle said.

There are 492 polling stations in 162 polling stations in Chitwan. There are a total of 442,082 voters in Chitwan, which has three constituencies. Out of the total polling stations in Chitwan district, 25 are highly sensitive, 93 sensitive and 44 are normal. In Chitwan, 18 candidates, including three independents, are in the fray in Constituency No. 1 and 23 candidates, including six independents, in Constituency No. 2 and 3. The polling stations are ready and the construction of counting centers is also being completed in all three constituencies.
