Four people have registered as independent candidates against the official candidate in the Nepali Communist Party.

Despite the party's recommendation from the district, they filed their candidatures against the official candidate after they did not get a ticket from the center.

After the NCP gave a ticket to former Unified Socialist Party Deputy General Secretary and former minister Metmani Chaudhary from Dang 1, former Maoist leader and former Chief Minister of Lumbini Province Kul Prasad KC has filed an independent candidacy against him. He said that he filed his candidacy independently after Chaudhary was repeatedly given a ticket despite the recommendation from the district.

'I have not withdrawn my candidacy.' There is no question of filing a candidacy,' he said, 'This decision was reached by leading the feelings of the people of the constituency, the voices of everyone.' He has already started campaigning with the agreed election symbol. The NCP district committee is continuing its efforts to get him back.

Official candidate Chaudhary said that independent candidate KC would withdraw his candidacy. 'Kul Prasad KC will withdraw his candidacy,' he said. He was a candidate and won in the 2079 election.

In Sindhuli 2, CPN leader Maheshwar Dahal has also filed his candidacy against the official candidate. He rebelled after former MP Lekhnath Dahal was made the official candidate. Dahal's proposer is former deputy secretary Haribol Gajurel. Dahal was recommended by the district party committee from constituency number 1.

'I was one of those who recommended the district task force. Lekhnath was recommended from constituency number 1 but was given a ticket from constituency number 2 by the Hukumi Pramangi.' Maheshwar said, 'We do not accept the Hukumi system. The district party committee does not accept it. Why should we accept the center's arbitrariness?' Lekhnath won from Dhading 2 in the 2079 election.

In Kalikot, after former minister and Chief Minister Mahendra Bahadur Shahi was made the official candidate, Maoist militant commander Jeevan Budha has become a rebel candidate. Shahi won the 2079 elections.

‘How many leaders will always accept the same person?’ Immediately after filing his independent candidacy, Budha had said, ‘My candidacy is to end the trend of leaders getting rich and people always living in poverty.’ He also said that he was forced to file his candidacy as there was no method or policy in the party and that the nomination papers were seized by the majority of the leaders and workers of the district by being bullied.

In Udayapur-2, the NCP has made Suresh Kumar Rai the official candidate. Former rural municipality chairman Major Kumar Rai has filed a rebel candidacy against him. He resigned from the post of Lumchungbung rural municipality chairman and became a candidate. He has been the chairman of this rural municipality twice. Suresh Kumar is a former MP.

‘The people’s dreams could not be killed. "I have become a candidate because if I save, the people will save, if I kill, the people will kill," he said, "I have created a basis for improving education, health, and selling local agricultural products." He said that he had asked the party for an opportunity to become an MP but did not get it, so he asked the people for that opportunity.
