The Dynamic Democratic Party has registered the candidacies of Nisha Adhikari from Kathmandu-5 and Pawan Thapa Magar from Surkhet-2 for the direct election to the House of Representatives.
Two candidates have registered their candidacies for the direct election to the House of Representatives from the Dynamic Democratic Party (GALOP).
The party has registered the candidacies of Nisha Adhikari from Kathmandu constituency number 5 and Pawan Thapa Magar from Surkhet constituency number 2.
Airline operator Birendra Bahadur Basnet, who founded the party, and party chairman and hotelier Dinesh Prasai, have not registered their candidacies directly.
Similarly, the party has submitted the names of 11 candidates to the Election Commission in the closed list for the proportional electoral system.
The Dynamic Democratic Party has adopted a policy of participating in the government only if it receives less than 20 percent of the total votes cast in the election.
The party's manifesto mentions that it will make it legally mandatory for political office bearers to periodically disclose their assets. The provision is included with the aim of ensuring transparency, good governance and accountability.
