Vice President of the National Independent Party, Swarnim Wagle, has claimed that the National Independent Party will become the first party this time.

Speaking at a meeting organized by the National Independent Party in Janakpur, he said, "The opposition makes various accusations against us. Isn't the RSVP against federalism? The question is raised whether it doesn't love Madhesh Province and the Far West. The immense love you have shown here today has answered that. This party is becoming the first."

He reminded that the party had received less than one lakh votes from Madhesh Province in the previous House of Representatives election under the proportional system.

"The National Independent Party had received less than one lakh votes last time," he said, "but this time, the party hopes to get more than 60 percent of the 3.4 million Madhesh voters."
