The Election Commission has made public the closed list of candidates for the proportional representation system.

According to the Commission's Joint Secretary and Spokesperson Narayan Prasad Bhattarai, the closed list of candidates submitted by political parties has been made public.

The election to the House of Representatives will be held on Falgun 21. 110 people will be elected from the proportional representation and 165 from the direct representation.

The Election Commission has stated that 3,213 names of candidates have been submitted from 63 political parties for the 110 seats.

Voters who wish to contest the eligibility of any candidate whose name is included in the closed list published by the Election Commission can submit an application by Magh 10.
