Nepali Congress leader Min Bishwakarma has said that the direct ticket for the House of Representatives elections will be signed by President Gagan Thapa and that all leaders should select candidates by consensus.

Bishwakarma made the call on Sunday through social media Facebook. He appeared before the Election Commission on behalf of former President Sher Bahadur Deuba during the dispute over authority and came out in favor of Bishwa Prakash Sharma and Gagan Thapa.

'Just as yesterday's Bhadra 24 could be treated by the Falgun 21 election, this election can also reconcile our differences. Yesterday, there was a dispute over who would sign the candidate's ticket. Deuba did half of it, Gagan Thapa will now do the rest. Let's select the candidate with everyone's consent,' Bishwakarma said, 'Let's create an environment where we can enthusiastically seek votes for the Congress candidate in the election. For this, Deuba, Gagan, Purna Bahadur, Shekhar should sit in one place right now. Come out of the siege and make a decision.'

Bishwakarma also said that there should be no fighting in the party. Bishwakarma has said that there should be no quarrel in the Supreme Court when a writ petition has been filed by Deuba's side. 'The dispute has now reached the court, not just the commission. Now let's leave the dispute to the court. Let's be ready to accept whatever the result may be. Yesterday, on Bhadra 24, we were ready to leave our homes for our lives, today let's be ready to give up our pride for the party,' he said. Bishwakarma says that only if the party becomes one can the Congress candidate win the upcoming election. Gagan Thapa has become the president of the Congress from the second general convention held on Poush 20-30. After that, the leaders of the Deuba group have reached the court from the Election Commission.
