The Nepali Communist Party has finalized candidates for members of the House of Representatives in all constituencies of Dang.

The names of Metmani Chaudhary from Constituency No. 1, Nirmal Acharya from Constituency No. 2 and Dhan Bahadur Maski from Constituency No. 3 have been finalized.

Chaudhary was elected as a member of the House of Representatives twice in 2074 and 2079 and became the Minister of Urban Development once. He was also the Chief Whip of the Unified Socialist Party led by Madhav Kumar Nepal. He won the 2079 election as a candidate from the alliance of the Congress, CPN (Unified Socialist) and the Maoist Center with 26,576 votes. His competitor, Shanta Chaudhary of the UML, received 21,493 votes.

Acharya was defeated as a candidate from the same constituency in the 2070 Constituent Assembly election. Maski was elected as a member of the Provincial Assembly from Dang 3 (2) in the 2079 Provincial Assembly election by receiving 22,362 votes. He also became the Finance Minister of Lumbini Province. Maski was a candidate from the alliance of the Congress, CPN (Unified Socialist) and the Maoist Center. His opponent, Hukum Bahadur Basnet of UML, received 20,193 votes.
