Immediately after the special general convention, Thapa had reached the Election Commission to update the details of the new central working committee.
The day after Thapa's party arrived, that is, on Friday morning, leaders of the Sher Bahadur Deuba faction of the Congress had reached the Election Commission. According to a leader of the Thapa faction, the Election Commission is going to discuss issues including the election symbol. All central members have also been invited to the discussion.
