Elections to be held for 134-member Central Working Committee

With the election process for the selection of a new leadership from the special general convention of the Nepali Congress officially underway, elections for the 134-member Central Working Committee are set to be held. Election Committee Coordinator Sitaram KC said in a press conference that the election will be held as per the old statute. According to him, elections will be held for 121 central members, including 13 office bearers.

According to KC, 2 vice-presidents, 2 general secretaries and 8 joint general secretaries will also be elected from the election. He informed that 35 people will be elected as open central members.
