Nepali Congress General Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma, in a report presented at the ongoing special general convention, has proposed bringing about a comprehensive change in representation in the party's structure.

He has proposed a system to ensure representation of those under 40 years of age in the Central Working Committee. According to which, a total of 40 people will be represented in the Central Working Committee, including 20 under 30 years of age and 20 between the ages of 30 and 40.

The report proposes a system of 10/10 people from both age groups in the Provincial Working Committee and a minimum of 6/6 people in the District, Federal Region, Provincial Assembly Region and Municipal Working Committee. The Ward Working Committee has also been provided with a minimum of 4/4 members from that age group.

Accepting the inclusive system, the report mentions that the Central and Provincial General Convention representatives will have a total of 4 representatives, with a minimum of 2 women and a minimum of 1 member under 30 years of age from each constituency.
