Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has resigned. Prime Minister Oli has resigned after a huge loss of people's wealth during the anti-corruption movement.

The Prime Minister's Secretariat has confirmed that Oli has resigned. Oli has also called an all-party meeting on Tuesday evening.

Oli was last appointed as the Prime Minister on 30 June 2081. Oli has been a member of Parliament since 2048. Since then, he has been in power in one form or another.  He became the Prime Minister for the first time on October 24, 2072.

He became the Prime Minister for the second term in 2074 and for some time in 2078 for the third term. The last time he led the government together with the Congress, but he could not work according to the people's expectations, widespread dissatisfaction towards him has been poured out on the streets.
