The government has declared three public holidays targeting the House of Representatives elections on 21 Falgun. The cabinet meeting held on Tuesday decided to declare public holidays on 20, 21 and 22 Falgun.
Earlier, the Election Commission had also recommended the government to declare public holidays targeting the House of Representatives elections.
There are two consecutive public holidays after the elections. Saturday 23 Falgun and Sunday 24 Falgun have been declared public holidays as they are Women's Day.
