The Election Commission is set to conduct a voter education program from Falgun 3. The Election Commission has issued a press release stating that voter education will be conducted through volunteers from Falgun 3 to 17.

The Commission's spokesperson, Narayan Prasad Bhattarai, informed that the mass media, social media and volunteers will be mobilized for voter education.

He said that voter education volunteers will be mobilized in a total of 6,743 wards of municipalities and rural municipalities across the country from Falgun 3 to 17. He said that the Commission is preparing to make voter education and election propaganda widespread and effective through mass media and public outreach programs.

He said that the program will inform voters about the voting process, use of ballot papers, the importance of secret voting, the election code of conduct and ways to avoid false and misleading information. The Election Commission claims that this program, which will be run through local level participation and direct involvement of the community, will promote effective voter education in accordance with the inclusive principle.

He said that this special voter education program has been approved and implemented by the Election Commission with the aim of strengthening voter education and making the House of Representatives elections 2082 a success.

He said that the Election Commission will conduct voter education programs through door-to-door and school-level voter education programs and voter education programs conducted through mass media and social media to make voter education effective.
