Surma and Saipal in Bajhang, Dasharathchand, Purchaudi, Patan, Surnaya in Baitadi, Mangalsen in Achham, Sanphebagar, Kamalbazar Panchadeval Vinayak, Ramaroshan, Turmakhand, Dhakari, Chaurpati, Bannigadhi, Mellekh are also municipalities affected by cold .

According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority of the Ministry of Home Affairs, more than 16,000 people from the high-mountain settlements of Taplejung, Panchthar, Gorkha, Manang, Mustang, Humla, Mugu, Dolpa, Jajarkot, Darchula and Bajura are being forced to temporarily move to other places for a few months due to snowfall.
