What does Jane-Gi say about Ravi and Balen's agreement?

Prakash did not like the division of the land issue coming out. He said, ”This matter should have been resolved internally. It does not send a good message when the issue of who will be the prime minister comes out like this.”

Gen-G victims are optimistic after a seven-point agreement was reached between Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) President Ravi Lamichhane and Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra Shah (Balen) to join the same party and contest the elections.

Prakash Bohora, a Gen-G injured person undergoing treatment at the Trauma Hospital, said that he has become hopeful after the agreement between Balen and Ravi. He said, ‘This is what we have always wanted. Both are the characters we have hoped for. We are happy to see both of them standing in one place.’

Prakash had left his bloody shoes after being injured in a bullet wound to his left leg while pulling an iron bar in Baneshwor. He said that the bloody shoes are considered the icon of the Gen-G rebellion .

This same Prakash said that even after three months of the Gen-G rebellion, there has been no political and institutional reform and that he is worried that the old party, from KP Oli to Sher Bahadur Deuba, will become powerful.

Prakash said that when he heard the news of the agreement between Balen and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Sunday morning, he felt that the possibility of alternative forces emerging in the country and overtaking the old ones has increased. He said that Kulman Ghising should also be included, saying, "It would have been better if Kulman had also been together." Prakash, who seemed excited by the agreement between the two forces, did not like the division issue coming out. He said, "This matter should have been settled internally. It does not send a good message when the issue of who will become the prime minister comes out like this." Another injured person in the Gen-G movement, Santanu Dhakal, also said that this news made him happy. He said, "Balen is a character we have already expressed hope and support for. Now we can hope for both Ravi and Balen." According to him, both of them should move forward by integrating the issues and essence of the Gen-G movement and the Gen-G injured. He added, "We fought for the new face. It is because there is no trust in the old ones. Now they should move forward by including our demands, issues, and us."

Gen-G injured person Liza Adhikari also expressed happiness over the unity of Ravi and Balen. She said, "I am very happy about this. I am confident that new faces will also come along with them."
