Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba, head of the disbanded representative body, UML president KP Sharma Oli and Maoist center coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal have been displaced after their residence was set on fire. Deuba has not gone public after the Genji movement, while Oli has started political activities by sitting in his new residence, Gundu, Bhaktapur. Dahal has started coming regularly to the central office Parisdanda. His political meetings have been held from Parisdanda.

Deuba and his wife Arju Rana Deuba are recovering from injuries sustained during the Gen Ji movement on 23rd and 24th of August when protesters attacked their residence in Budanilkanth. After medical treatment, he is enjoying his health by renting a house in Chundevi area of ​​Kathmandu. Currently, their health is also being followed up from home.

Deuba has not been seen anywhere on the public stage except for giving wishes on Dashain. Deuba did not attend the meeting of the officials and former officials on Thursday. Based on his presence, the meeting was said to be held at the Himalayan Hotel in Kupondal. However, after his absence, the meeting was held at the central office of Sanepa. Deuba did not even attend the virtual meeting of the Central Performance Committee which was held next to the Zenji movement.

According to the leaders close to him, Deuba has not physically met with other leaders and workers of the party except for some of his credentials. Even the party line has not been informed about his place of residence. After the change of Genji movement, Congress General Minister Gagan Thapa and Bishwa Prakash Sharma requested Deuba to leave the leadership and give the executive role to Deputy Chairman Purna Bahadur Khadka.

Deuba is in a telephone conversation with UML President KP Sharma Oli and Maoist Center Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal. Deuba did not give executive orders despite giving the authority to conduct party meetings and activities. After that, after the signature campaign for the special convention was started on the initiative of General Minister Thapa and Sharma, Deuba had some time with those close to him on team phone and last time he had physical political meetings only with trusted leaders . The Deuba couple still do not feel safe after the incident of August 24. That's why he doesn't want to go public according to the leaders close to him. Even while issuing the Dashain greetings message, he called the Genji movement "inconceivable and tragic in history".

It is not that the Deuba couple is not aware that they are attacking the house. In the morning, party leaders and security personnel also sent messages not to stay at home. However, Deuba says that he is staying at home, looking confident that he will be safe after the addition of armed leaders and district security personnel.

The leaders have said that they started staying at their relatives' house for a few days before Dashain and then at the Dera in Chundevi area. However, he still does not want to tell even his close relatives about where Deuba is staying formally.

Congress spokesperson Prakasharan Mahat said that Deuba's health is yet to fully recover. According to him, he himself will preside over the meeting of the central working committee of the party starting on the 26th. Today (Monday) I met. The chairman will be all senior friends in the meeting of party officials and ex-officers. It sets an agenda . I will come to the meeting of the central working committee, you told me to sit and discuss it as a senior," Mahat said.

Oli was under pressure to resign after more destructive demonstrations started on August 24. Oli was giving instructions to handle the situation when the chiefs of army, Nepal, police and national investigation were suggesting to resign after demonstrations started throughout Dashain including the capital Kathmandu. Oli was ready to resign after the arson and vandalism of the parliament building, Singhdabar, various ministries there, and the Supreme Court by 2 o'clock on August 24. By that time, the protestors had entered the Prime Minister's residence, Baluwatar.

He, who was surrounded by the army and the police, said that he had resigned for a political solution in accordance with the constitution, taking into account the uneven situation in the country. Soon after, he was rescued by an army helicopter and taken to Chillang Barracks in Makwanpur. His house at Balkot in Bhaktapur was destroyed due to arson, vandalism and looting by the protestors. Oli has been looking at the Gen G movement and the subsequent situation as a conspiracy during this one month period. He claims that there is a conspiracy because of his stance on national independence, geographical integrity, and sovereignty, not because of the Genji movement due to his leadership. He is not in favor of criticizing the past but has been claiming that the government under his leadership has done good work in the areas of good governance. KP Oli is not on the right path. He considers the Jen Ji movement to be a conspiracy of foreign powers in causing human and material damage. A leader who met him said, "Oli is not even in the mood to hand over the leadership." This seems to cause more damage to UML.'

UML spokesperson Rajendra Gautam said that Oli Gundu is increasing political activism while staying at his residence. "Political activism may have decreased physically, but there is no decrease in political activism," he said.

In the meantime, he has not talked to former President Vidya Bhandari. He stopped Bhandari from participating in the Legislative Assembly in the third week of August. But he has talked with senior vice president Pokharel, vice presidents Gyawali and Pandey.

Oli's personal secretary Rajesh Bajracharya said that Gundu's stay was a bit narrow. "The president is having political meetings from morning till evening," he said, "mainly he is busy with political meetings." He has prepared to leave for the Central Committee meeting to be held from August 29.

At eight in the morning on August 24, as the leader of the then main opposition party, Dahal decided to call a meeting of the opposition party at Singhdabar and pressure Oli to resign. When he was in Singhdabar, vandalism and arson started at his residence in Khumaltar. Demonstrators had already surrounded Singha Dabar .
