Nepal Police has received more than 37,000 photos, videos and social media links during the protests and demonstrations that took place on August 23rd and 24th in various places in the country, including Kathmandu Valley.

According to the central spokesperson of Nepal Police, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Vinod Ghimire, scenes and links related to various incidents of arson, looting, vandalism of public property and creating panic among the public were received through the email and website of the police during those two days.

The police issued a statement earlier and requested the common citizens to send photos and videos of any unwanted activities, violent incidents or related evidence during the protest.
