Since it was built 33 years ago, wood has been used a lot in all the buildings of the Provincial Assembly complex. The fire roared because of the wood. While the fire was raging, some of the protesters were busy vandalizing CCTV, some were busy with looting . The fire raged until the state assembly building was reduced to ashes.
State Assembly's computer, printer, books and flowers have been stolen. Due to this movement, the state assembly has to suffer a loss of about 90 crore rupees . No stolen items have been returned. Staff are checking the wreckage to see if any items will be used later. On Friday morning, the official Jhankaraj Adhikari was assigned to check with the technician whether any of the display materials placed in the state assembly premises will work. This screen was put up in late March at a cost of 8 lakh rupees. The social development and agriculture committee hall of the state assembly complex has survived the fire. The protestors did not set fire to the agriculture committee hall as the offices of the parliamentary party and other committee rooms in the front were set on fire. They tried to vandalize the LED there. After the fire broke out in the building in front, the protesters ran to save their lives, so the office was saved.
Currently, the secretary, secretariat staff are working regularly from this hall . The Ganja Bill has been registered in the Secretariat. To send the said bill to the committee, the hall of the Ministry of Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives is being prepared to be made into a provincial assembly meeting room.
