On August 24, the whole country was shocked. Kalila youths lost their lives the previous day after the government used force in the protest demonstration of Jen-G. The country was in a state of mourning. The court was also quiet. At 10 am, Chief Justice Prakashmansingh Raut was preparing to go to the Supreme Court from Baluwatar residence.

Considering the mood of the movement, he thought of keeping an expensive car at his residence and reached the Supreme Court with a cheap car and less security personnel.

It was already 10:30 when he reached the Supreme . The court staff had arrived and the judges were continuing to arrive. As always, the process of shooting began. The force used in the previous day's protest was used. District Administration Office Kathmandu issued a curfew order to normalize the situation. But the people continued to come out on the streets since morning and started to gather.

It was easy to suspect that the movement would intensify as people began to gather in the streets. After the gathering of the judges who could attend the court, there was a discussion on the issue of witnessing of prisoners and hearing only writs and petitions . After Chief Justice Raut held a general discussion with all the judges, two single benches of Justice Manoj Sharma and Tek Prasad Dhungana were formed.

In Sharma's bench, the petition against the government's decision to ban social media was decided to be filed, while in Dhungana's court, the petition for direct arrest was filed . Two benches were formed to assess the situation and to form other benches.

The hearing lasted until about 2 o'clock . Judge Sharma's bench canceled the order to file a writ regarding social media and ordered to register it. After the debate in the bench, all the judges gathered in the chief justice's chamber.

The crowd of protestors was increasing while debating in the Supreme Court. Advocate Mohana Ansari was coming down after debating in the Supreme Court. His scooter was near the gate of the Supreme Court. She went to the canteen of the Supreme Court to have tea, but she got scared when the procession of demonstrators from Maitighar Mandla started coming and going to the gate of the Supreme Court.

In the meantime, she was getting information from social media that Parliament House, Singha Dabar, leaders' houses were burnt. We were in the court premises until 2:30. Crowds were coming and going. The protestors were trying to enter the court and coming back again and again. The security personnel at the gate were a little alert but they could not stop and the crowd entered the court. She sat on the side and listened to both voices saying that the court should be burned, or not, from the main gate.

Suddenly, they brought out the files in the courtrooms and started burning motorbikes and scooters . Looking at the scooter next to him, his teeth gritted . Not a word came out of her mouth, she just watched. One after the other Hull entered the court again, they also started vandalism . The process of setting fire to one after another started .

Around 12 noon on the 24th of August, the Supreme Court opened the way to register and hear the case against the government's decision to close social networks.

After 19 people were killed in the protest of Jen-G which started the previous day against that decision, the general public also came out in protest on that day . The movement became violent. Within 2 hours of the order, the court started to burn in flames . The Attorney General's Office and the Nepal Bar Association were also set on fire. Only smoke and fire could be seen from all the three buildings. In the meantime, the news spread that the parliament building, the President's residence after Singha Dabar had also been taken over by the protestors.

Judges and security personnel gathered in the chief justice's chamber started discussing how to get out. The protestors surrounded the outside and vandalized the vehicles. The drivers of the Supreme Court tried to take as many vehicles as possible to the fire of the Judicial Council behind the Supreme Court. But it was not possible as the protesters started vandalism and arson. Security personnel of Nepal Police and Nepali Army forced the Chief Justice and judges into Singha Dabar through the entrance and took them out in the vehicle of the security personnel.

All the judges were sent to the residence and the Chief Justice also reached his residence. Chief Justice Raut does not want to remember that. They try to forget the day when judicial history was destroyed, but they can't. The situation in the country was certainly not good. This thing was definitely not unknown to us. After that, I came to know that the other husbands (judges) talked about whether there was a situation in which the court did not sit. We had a general discussion,'' Raut recalled that day, 'We came to the conclusion that justice cannot be stopped rather than whether there is an environment for sitting the court. And two Ijalas began .'

was conducted without interruption until tea time. Lawyers came and started arguing. The judges also ordered. There has been information that vandalism and vandalism have increased since tea time. "All the husbands have gathered and now they are discussing whether to continue the hearing of the court," he added.

By then Chief Justice Raut may be set on fire in the court?  Maybe vandalism ? There was no idea that there would be another kind of disaster. It was absolutely beyond imagination . At around 3 o'clock, the court's security guards told her that her husband should be a little safer, and she became worried.

I heard that everything from the Parliament House, Singha Dabar was vandalized because the police could not stop the crowd. After this news from the security personnel and other judges also said that the situation was getting complicated, we started discussing what to do.'

He said that the prime minister had resigned on the 24th, probably around one o'clock, and there would have been no other prime minister . The country was without a government. But there was a matter of the courts and the security there . Raut tried to contact everywhere for security . Got information that the situation is serious .

Around 3 o'clock, when the news came that the security personnel including the Nepal Police had withdrawn, Raut felt that he should be safe now. When the security personnel left the office and they left their uniforms, there were rumors that the protesters had taken weapons from some places.

'Court is a place where people's property is kept. The court is an institution made for the livelihood of citizens. Even then, what I was sure of was that they would not burn the court building and missile files in any way," Raut said. After vandalizing the parliament building, the crowd that came to Maitighar via Singhdabar entered the Supreme Court and vandalized it.'

and the security personnel also said that even though the husband requested that he should not stay here anymore because of the evil angle of security, he should leave the Supreme Court with all the judges in a vehicle of the Nepali army. When he left the court like this, the vandalism had just started. With a heavy heart, I prepared to walk with the security personnel . I tried to protect my good faith and the decision of the father in the institution and the court, but to no avail," Raut said, "When I reached the residence, there was vandalism and looting. It was looted to such an extent that the protestors took away my hanging coat and clothes. I had nothing but a pair of clothes.'

Around 5:30 p.m., he got the information that the Supreme Court was completely burnt and everything was destroyed.

...

Rajan Sapkota reached the office early in the morning due to the agitation on the 24th. He started researching the history of the court for the past few years . He reached in the morning because he loved these files and wanted to keep them safe.

The judicial museum branch in the annex building of the Supreme Court was in regular operation . Not only he, no one thought that the protesters would enter the court . This unexpected event happened.

Around three o'clock I heard a lot of noise. After the commotion outside, he came out. When he went out with the key of the archive branch, the burning smoke was spread everywhere. He came out of the annex building and reached the canteen only, when he met with the protestors . They were going towards the annex. Rajan tried to stop . But the protestors attacked the law press in the courtyard. And the full texts of all judgments started burning.  Soon after the

, smoke started rising on the roof of the main building of the Supreme Court. The episode has started . Rajan also saved the motorcycle and went home. On that day, the security personnel who were sitting at the gate of the Supreme Court tried to control the situation but it was not possible and they say that there was a huge loss. The police guarding the gate of the Supreme Court said that the protesters who came for the first time were reminded and given water, but the last time they entered by force.

At that time, the security personnel said that they were forced to leave when the police could not take control. At that time, if one hundred more security personnel could have been added, it could have been saved. But the security personnel say that this is not the case. They understand that the large number of protesters could not be stopped as there are only a small number of security personnel assigned to the court's regular security .

Arjun Koirala, spokesperson of the Supreme Court, said that it was gray looking at that day. He said that the court, which was full till 2 o'clock, was empty within an hour. He was on trial. Was discussing Pacey and writ . Protesters entered the court around three o'clock. And they set fire to the vehicles in the supreme complex and started burning the files by entering the premises.

After setting fire to the branches, they entered the Information Technology Division of the Supreme Court on the upper floor, broke the server and set fire to it, and because it was full of Supreme Papers, he said, there was a commotion. Suddenly there was a noisy atmosphere inside the court. He said that the employees were asked to go home slowly and they also came out safely.

There was a risk of the agitators attacking the staff as well and they returned home after not seeing the point of waiting after all the materials of the court were burnt . The history since 2008 and the Supreme has been erased in a single moment . Fire was burning in the Supreme Court for three days.

The next day, he said that he had taken out the remaining files from the burning, and now he is trying to return to the court after starting the trial from the tent. I don't want to remember 24th of August. We have come to a zero state at once,' said Koirala, 'now it will take many years and hard work to recreate this judicial history.' If he stays inside the court for some time, he is afraid that all the judges and staff will burn to ashes. That day was unimaginable. There was anarchy in the name of Gen-G movement," he said, "Such history should not be repeated. Don't be seen .'
