The police retreated when the protestors became violent. After the police left, the protesters set fire to some vehicles and motorcycles in the municipality.
The police fired tear gas and bullets to control the situation. One person has been injured by police firing. One person injured by bullet is being treated at Damak Hospital. It has been revealed that the injured youth is Prakash Bhattarai of Kamal Rural Municipality-5. Recently, an attempt is being made to control the situation by mobilizing the armed police.
There was a clash in the afternoon between Jen-G and the police who had been protesting since 11 am in Sunsari's Itahari. When the demonstration in front of the Itahari sub-metropolitan office became violent, the police fired aerial fire and tear gas to control the situation. Some protesters and police were injured in the clash. The injured are being treated at Damak Hospital. After the tear gas attack, the protestors were dispersed for a while, but the demonstration is going on again .
From Jhapa to Kanchanpur, Zen-G is performing in all the cities on Monday. Although the demonstration which took place in Dadeldhura, Rautahat, Janakpur, Birgunj and other places ended for a while, it continued till 2 o'clock in the afternoon in most of the places. Gen-G, who started gathering since morning, have protested against the government at places like Ilam, Dharan, Wiranatgarh, Janakpur, Rautahat, Birganj, Sindhuli, Hetaunda, Bharatarpur, Kawasoti, Dang, Surkhet, Dhangadhi, Mahendranagar, Dadeldhura.
