So far, 14 people have died when the police opened fire during the Jen-G demonstration. The police opened fire on the demonstration centered on Baneshwar.

7 people have died in trauma center, 3 in Everest, 2 in civil hospital, 1 in university teaching and 1 in KMC. More than 200 are being treated in various hospitals. 100 in civil, 50 in trauma, 20 in Everest, 35 in KMC, 7 in Veer and 4 in Patan Hospital are undergoing treatment.

 

According to Everest Hospital official Anil Adhikari, there are 4 people in serious condition. Dr. Dipendra Pandey of the trauma center said 10 people are in serious condition. They have been shot in the head and chest.

 

 

The police fired water cannons, tear gas and bullets at the protestors. The injured are being treated at Trauma, Civil, Everest and other hospitals.

'Zen-G's' protested against the ban imposed by the government on social media and corruption. Demonstrations are being held in the main cities of the country including Kathmandu.
