Ronish Regmi, who is being treated for a rubber bullet in the head, is sitting outside the trauma hospital. 19-year-old Ronish, who was studying in class 12 in Kathmandu, went to the movement with his brother.
He said that he joined the Zen-ji movement with the slogans that corruption should be stopped, youth should get jobs in their own country, taxes paid by the common people should not be misused.
He says, 'I went for the movement, but I did not do anything, suddenly a rubber bullet hit my head. I fainted there, later I got to know that my brother had called me and told me that he was taken to the hospital in an ambulance.'
He was living with his brother and had gone to say that there would be a peaceful protest. All of a sudden a rubber bullet hit the brothers who went together and he disappeared. Ronish, who was unconscious after being shot, regained consciousness only after being brought to the hospital. Outside the trauma hospital, there were many young men and women who were injured in the Zen-G movement. Some had bandages on their hands and some had bandages on their heads. Some have plasters on their hands and some on their feet. Prajwal Pathak, who was injured during the
protest, was also writhing in pain as a rubber bullet hit his chest during the
protest. He said that he was very sad when he saw the large scale of the movement, who went to the protest with his friend. He says, "The friends who were protesting together in front of us got bloodied. I carried him to the ambulance, suddenly everyone started collapsing after being shot. When one of them was put in the ambulance, I saw the other collapsed. Later, he fell down after being shot himself,'' he said. I still can't believe that this happened today.
